Following its pact with the TN government-run Arasu Cable for channel distribution, the company's subscription revenue went up in the last quarter of the previous year. With the increased reach, the company's ad revenue too went up by 40 per cent in the last quarter. It is also planning to revise ad rates in the next few months. With all these things kicking in, for the full year the company hopes to take its turnover to Rs 100 crore from Rs 55 crore registered last year, said M. Raajhendhran, Managing Director of the company.

Last year, it posted a net profit of Rs 10 crore. After four years, in its recent annual general meeting, it decided to pay a dividend of Rs 1 per share (10 per cent).

The company's share has been one of the strong performers this year. The stock today closed with a gain of 3.3 per cent at Rs 206 on the BSE. It recently registered its 52-week high of Rs 224.9 (July 6). The stock's 52-week low is Rs 41.55, registered exactly a year ago. Since then, it produced a whopping return of 370 per cent. As against this, the BSE Sensex gave a return of only 3.6 per cent and the BSE-500 just one per cent.
