Movie and TV actors Dilip Raj and Aparna gave a sneak preview of the performances and acts that will be witnessed at the awards night of the Cocoraj Big Kannada 2010 TV Awards (BKTA).

An initiative by the Reliance Broadcast, the award ceremony will be an initiative to celebrate and honor individuals from Kannada television who have significantly contributed to take entertainment in Kannada television to new heights.

Television is mandatory and has become an integral part in everybody's life, guests echoed these thoughts. "I am happy that at least now people have started recognizing the contribution of television. I guess, this should have come much earlier because television is not new, and it has been growing much more than anything else in the country," said TV artist and actor Aparna.

The gala award night scheduled for January 7, 2011 at Ambedkar Bhavan will see the coming together of bigwigs from the television entertainment industry who are all set to charm the audiences with their charisma and aura. Also, the stage will be set on fire with the dazzling performances of these artists and many from the movie fraternity. To make the evening special, there will also be special performances by actors like Sharmila Mandre, Pooja Gandhi and other popular names from Kannada TV industry.
