On the eve of Makara Sankranti, Discovery Channel announced that it will now be available 24-hours in Telugu. The channel had introduced a 6-hour Telugu feed in October 2010 and post an overwhelming response from the viewers in the state, it has been transformed into a 24-hour feed. The channel will now be available in four languages in India
