Arasi is directed by Aravind Kaushik who has under his directorial belt several films such as Nam Arealli Ondu Dina and TV series. The serial is produced and edited by Ganapathi Bhat, while Indraprasad is the cinematographer.

The cast of Arasi includes Pragathi, Sania iyer who is a state award winner as the best child artist, Renuka, Raaghu Shivamogga, Madhushri, Chakravarthi and Vinay.

Arasi follows the tale of two girls, one rich and one poor, and the impact on both of them by reversals of fate.
