The Star Networks Malayalam offering Asianet will start airing a new daily reality one hour show Stars that has male and female actors from the small screen as participant starting 22 July. The reality show will see five teams with five members in each team competing against one other.

Stars is produced by Asianet and directed by Sindhu Sreedhar 12 of the minimum 32 planned episodes have been canned so far and the channel will take a call on extending the show depending upon its ratings, reveal sources at the channel. Sreelakshmi and Reena Basheer will anchor the show.
