A health channel named CVR Health had telecast a show named ‘healthy nights’ in 2016 that was considered unsuitable for the television audience for which it was asked to go off air for three days with effect from 8-11 September 2018.
In a bid to attract audiences, the channel aired various films songs abundant with scenes that objectified women as well as movie clips that contained lovemaking scenes that were highly obscene and found unsuitable for telecast.

Viacom18, the 51:49 joint venture (JV) between TV18 and Viacom, is planning to launch a Kannada movie channel Colors Kannada Cinema. The pay channel has been priced at Rs 1 under the new tariff regime.
Colors Kannada Cinema will deepen Viacom18’s presence in the Karnataka market. The company’s Colors Kannada is a market leader. Viacom18 further strengthened its grip on the market by launching a second GEC named Colors Super.
