From March 10, Vijay Super will don a new look with the tagline Dhool Cinema Dhinam Dhinam. It will be a full-fledged movie channel and will telecast six titles every day.
With the new TV ecosystem in place, broadcasters are focusing on upping the standing of its regional and niche channels.
In-line with Zee Kannada’s recently launched brand proposition, the channel will be launching its latest fiction show ‘Gattimela’ starting 11th March at 8 pm from Monday-Friday.
The story narrates the struggle of a mighty woman who is encountered with hurdles, hailing from a lower middle-class family, with the courage to dream big of witnessing her 4-daughters be a part of a sacrament alliance.
Tamil GEC Sun TV will be re-shuffling its programming line-up from 18th March. The channel will be introducing a new show in the afternoon while changing the timings of four shows.
The channel will change the timing of its four shows ‘Kalyana Parisu’, ‘Roja’, ‘Chandrakumari’ and ‘Lakshmi Stores’. It has also commissioned a new show ‘Nila’ produced by Srikanth Entertainment at 2.30 pm on 18th March.
Sun TV cluster head of kids channels Kavitha Jaubin has been given additional responsibility to manage its second Tamil GEC, Sun Life. Jaubin will continue in her existing role of head content acquisition and kids channels of Sun TV Network.
Sun TV Network had revamped its hybrid channel Sun Life as a second Tamil GEC in October 2018. The channel has 24 hours of original content a week. It targets youth in 18-30 age-groups and has a mix of fiction, non-fiction content and reality show content.
