In the recent weeks viewers have noticed that Jaya TV has stopped its transmission in Europe on Eurobird 9A (9 degree East): 11919, Vertical, SR 27500 and fec 3/4. Instead movies and songs are being telecasted on the channel. 

According to Ayngaran TV, which was responsible for Jaya TV transmission in Europe, Jaya TV will not return again on the channel, and that Ayngaran Plus will be telecasting instead of Jaya TV on the frequency. For a long time viewers could see the label "Ayngaran Plus" in the lower right corner, and now Ayngaran Plus has started to show movies and cinema songs 24 H a day on this channel. 

Varios Tamil TV-channels like TTN Tamil TV and Deepam TV in Europe have telecasted Jaya TV programmes, but it was Cee(I)TV Tamil (South For You) which had close ties with Jaya TV for many years. For a period Jaya TV was also telecasted in Europe through Dish Asia Network as DAN Jaya TV on Hotbird satellite while Cee(I)TV Tamil was mainly targeted UK viewers on Eurobird 28A (28.5 degree East) satellite. 

When Cee(I)TV Tamil was closed down, Ayngaran TV took over Jaya TV channel as a part of its TV-package with Ayngaran-Kalaignar TV. But Jaya TV has telecasted for free for a very long period. While the channel was running with Cee(I)TV Tamil's "South For You" license from British Ofcom, Ayngaran TV also got a license from Ofcom to run a movie/cinema entertainment channel in the name of Ayngaran Plus. After the "South For You"-license was revoked by Ofcom, "Ayngaran Plus" label was put on the Jaya TV channel. 

Ayngaran TV has already removed informations about Jaya TV from their websitem and they will soon update their website with informations about Ayngaran Plus, TV-schedule etc. The channel is going to telecast as free-TV for a period. The company has no plans of starting Jaya TV in Europe again. 

We may see Jaya TV in Europe again as this channel is present in many countries outside India and it will probably compete with Sun TV and Kalaignar TV again in Europe.
