The first 24H Tamil radio station in Europe, TRT Tamil Olli, is finally moving to Eurobird 9A (9 degree East) from Eutelsat Hotbird (13 degree East) where it has been broadcasting for many years from Paris, France. Already many Tamil radio stations from Europe have moved to Eurobird 9A or totally become a web based online radio station. Currently only IBC Tamil Radio (the 2nd 24H Tamil radio in Europe from London, UK) and ILC Tamil (Uyirodai Radio) from UK are available through satellite in Europe & Middle East. 

With TRT Tamil Olli leaving Eutelsat Hotbird satellite, it will leave Angel TV (a Tamil Christian channel) as the one and only Tamil station on Eutelsat Hotbird satellite. The other Tamil TV-channels have already moved to Eurobird 9A, where Angel TV was also available for a period before it decided to move back to Eutelsat Hotbird again.
