IBC Tamil TV has changed its evening news broadcast from 30 minuts to 60 minuts since yesterday. The extended news broadcast has been named "Seithy Neeram", and will consist of news from Tamil Eelam/Sri Lanka, India, World, analysis, sports news, weather, currency info etc. and will be aired from 21.00 to 22.00 CET - Monday to Friday. The evening news telecast has got a new intro and jingle and gives an impression of a high quality news service in modern western style - like news on famous international channels. 

The change has only been made to the evening news, which is repeated again on 01.00 CET. The news telecast on 13.00 and 17.00 CET remains as 30 min. telecast in the old style. 
Currently IBC Tamil TV is the only Tamil TV-station from Europe, which is telecasting news from its studios in UK. Other channels like Deepam TV, GTV and Athavan TV are also telecasting news, but they are telecasted from India or Sri Lanka. Another channel from France, TTN Tamil Oli, was also telecasting news from its studios in Paris, but it has been set on standby as the IPTV-channel has moved out from its studios.
