In a time where Tamil radio and TV-channels from Europe have ceased satellite transmission and gone online as webradio and IPTV-channels, a new Tamil TV channel has launched on Eurobird 9A (9 degree East). The channel is Tamilan TV from India and it has started on 11881, Vertical, SR 27500 and fec 2/3. The channel is available free-to-air. Currently only IBC Tamil TV, IBC Tamil Radio, Athavan TV, Athavan Radio, Star Vijay TV, NLM TV, Angel TV and Holy God TV are available on satellite in Europe. 

 It will be interesting to see for how long time Tamilan TV will be available in Europe on satellite.
