On August 15, 2013 Independence Day, Vijay TV has an interesting line-up of special programmes beginning from 8am onwards.
The day starts off with 'Pattimandram' at 8am. An interesting debate to start the I-day! What do we need in today's times to steer India towards prosperity & development? Money?, Weapons?, Political revolution? Watch the most eloquent speakers give their point of view, headed by the master speaker Arivoli.

At 9am 'Lingu vin Haiku' brings in the director who had delivered mass hit films and turns to be poet now! As we ponder more into the new found interest of the director, he gives us a reason to travel with him to his hometown, to know about the innumerable inspirations that prompted him to be befriending his pen. An interesting journey unraveling his versatility and never before seen moments that he shares with his peers. Not just this we also catch the glimpse of what his colleagues from the film fraternity had to talk about this idiosyncratic side of the director.
