TRT Tamil Olli was launched on 14th January 1997 from Paris, France. It is the first 24H Tamil radio station in Europe - and is currently also the one and only Tamil radio channel left on satellite in UK, Europe, Middle East and North Africa on Eurobird 9B satellite (9 degree East): 11727, Vertical, SR 30000 and fec 3/4. TRT Tamil Olli is a much respected Tamil radio station in Europe which broadcasts a lot of variety programmes like news, gameshows, debate programmes, politics, music, comedy etc. The RJs are working as volunteers and has done that for several years, so please don't expect salary.
