National Television of Tamil Eelam (NTT), which was launched from Tamil Eelam on 26.03.2005, by Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). The channel was telecasted live through TTN Tamil TV from Paris through satellite in Europe, Middle East and North Africa at that time. In August the channel also started to telecast for some hours through satellite in South-East Asia under the name "TCP" (Tamil Cultural Programmes). Due to the civil war in Sri Lanka and the Sri Lankan military's attacks the channel was forced to close down for a period.
Now the channel has been relaunched as a web-TV channel currently telecasting non-stop Eelam related songs. It is currently webcasting on its former website - www.tamilntt.net and also been added to Saalai TV IPTV box.
National TV of Tamil Eelam, Thamil Eela Vaanoli and Pulikalin Kural (Voice of Tigers Radio) are all run by one management.
Already TTN Tamil TV has been relaunched as a web-TV channel under a new management and is currently telecasting with a daily programme block from 18.00 CET to around 21.00/22.00 CET which is repeated again and again until next day. The channel is telecasting on www.ttn.tv and through various IPTV boxes, apps and websites.
