Sun TV Network website in a new fresh look
Sun TV Network has relaunched their website today. The old website design has been replaced by a new template in a new and modern look and with new features. One of them is a new TV-guide, and there are also informations about programes and new programmes. Although the new website looks good, they have forgot to complete it as informations regarding their new channels (Sun Action, Sun Life, Gemini Life, Surya Action, Sun TV RI, Suriyan TV, etc.). Also TV-schedule for these new channels are missing like for Adithya TV.
Star to launch Movies Ok on 6 May
Movies Ok, the second channel from Star India under the 'Ok' banner, is being readied for launch on 6 May coinciding with the start of the Aamir Khan show Satyamev Jayate.
Star, the parent company of Movies Ok, had earlier rebranded its youth-focussed Hindi general entertainment channel Star One as Life Ok, giving it a distinct content identity after its new launch.
Zee News launches 2nd edition of water awareness campaign
Zee News is launching the second edition of its 'Saaf Pani Swastha Bharat' initiative; an attempt to educate the masses about the importance of clean water and the need to conserve it.
Scheduled to launch today, the campaign aims at sensitizing people about the shortage of pure water faced across the world and educate them on ways to save it. This will be done through the telecast of educational TVC's, tips to save water and informative programming. The initiative will also use other mediums for spreading awareness like print and radio.

Colors splits programming unit, Manisha Sharma to head weekends
Colors has split its programming unit into two separate teams to bring more focus on content for weekdays and weekends.
Manisha Sharma, who joins from tomorrow, will handle weekend programming with a team size of 10. Prashaat Bhatt, who was earlier in charge of fiction programming, will get the weekdays to nurse.
Colors' programming structure earlier evolved under a fiction and a non-fiction head without a programming head, after Ashvini Yardi quit to pursue film projects as an entrepreneur.

Star Plus No.1 Channel
Star Plus makes it to the top spot in the rat race for high TRPs, proving to be the Numero Uno Hindi entertainment channel. Star Plus shows have beaten its competitors in the TRP ratings for this week (18th April-24th April) to secure itself once again.
'Diya Aur Baati Hum' makes it to the no.1 spot with a TRP rating of 4.1. Other shows from the channel like 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya'(3.3), 'Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain'(3.2) and 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?'(3.1) follow closely.
