ITR France programmes is going to be broadcasted through Yugam Radio in Canada from 10.02.2020 daily from 11.00 to 13.00 CET (5 to 7 AM Canadian time). The new change is coming after the change in ITR Canada, which is now broadcasting in Canada as "Time FM". ITR France is a web based online radio broadcasting from Paris in France.

Lyca TV has merged with Yupp TV last week. Both are IPTV providers of channels in different languages from different countries. Yupp TV is a major player in the IPTV market in different parts of the world and in 2018 it took over Lebara Play, which was a competitor to Lyca TV.
Currently Lyca TV's Athavan TV and Athavan Music channels are now available in Yupp TV - and the other channels from the Lyca TV packages are expected to migrate to Yupp TV in the near future - like the channels from Lebara Play.

Zee has covered most of the regional space with its GEC and movie channels. With the launch of Zee Thirai it strengthened its footprint in the southern market. Star India has announced the launch of Star Gold 2, its latest offering in the Hindi movie channel category. In an industry-first move, the network is introducing movie theatre’s “multiplex strategy” to the small screen, enabling it to showcase the myriad premieres of the newly acquired Bollywood movies on both Star Gold and Star Gold 2.

Media conglomerate ZEEL will launch its Tamil movie channel Zee Thirai on 19th January. The new channel was unveiled at the first-ever Zee Cine Awards Tamil 2020 that was held on 4th January.
The announcement was made during the momentous occasion by ZEEL CEO India Broadcast Business Punit Mishra along with the actor Dr Kamal Hassan. While Mishra thanked the audience for their immense love and support towards Zee Tamil and dedicated the new channel to the people of Tamil Nadu, Kamal Hassan officiated the launch of Zee Thirai with a clapboard to an ecstatic audience.
Mavis Satcom, which operates channels under the Jaya TV banner, has become the first broadcasting company to comply with regulator TRAI’s order to publish updated channel prices by end of day today.
The company published prices of four channels and one bouquet.
The channel prices remain unchanged and range from Rs 0.50 for Jaya Plus to Rs 6 per month for Jaya TV HD. A bouquet or pack containing all four channels has been priced at Rs 8 per month.
On January 1, TRAI unveiled new rules for the pricing of TV channels under which no channel that is priced above Rs 12 per month can be included in a bouquet/package. The purpose of the amended regulations is to bring down consumer prices.
